AUROVILLE COMMUNITY

I started News and Analysis articles to provide unbiased and document- based reporting of news and analysis related to Auroville, the rest of India,

and the world. Each of the articles took hours and sometimes days of

research and cross-checking prior to publishing. No donations were

requested for the work, nor any received. It was an initiative and effort in

the spirit of Karma Yoga. Most of the articles received high viewership in

the Auronet context and overall good and excellent ratings. A few readers

from across the divide in Auroville took the trouble to convey their

appreciations by telephone and email.

Suddenly, I find today that the News and Analysis page is missing from

Auronet, and the articles that were published under that are now without

the News and Analysis banner. I hope this was a mistake and the

managers of Auronet would restore it and not an attempt to stifle truthful

and independent journalism, which Auroville needs for its growth.

'News and Analysis' banned?
